On September 21st FSEA organized a Business Breakfast with the Minister of Finance Mr. Octavian Armasu.
The goal of the event was to bring together FSEA members and establish a constructive dialogue between small business and the Ministry of Finance.
The main topic of the discussion was the harmonization of the fiscal and customs legislation with the EU Directive and the objectives of the Ministry of Finance with reference to the Concept of revision of the Fiscal and Customs Code for the period 2017-2019.
The participants were active in addressing questions that affect small business and create barriers in their activity. The main questions were related to the simplified accounting system for SME’s and the phenomenon of black economy in certain industries that create an unloyal competition for transparent businesses. Fiscal and taxation aspects of online payments and online commerce. Customs procedures for import and export of small quantities. In addition to that Mr. Armasu have shared his valuable experience as Financial Manager at Südzucker Moldova S.A and gave recommendation in Financial Management for small businesses.
FSEA thanks Mr. Armasu for his time and openness to take into consideration FSEA advocacy initiatives related to tax and customs policies expressed through the business to government dialogue platform near the Ministry of Finance.
