FSEA participated at the working group on „Stimulation and Retention of Private Investments” within the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council

On September 22sd FSEA participated at the meeting of working group on „Stimulation and Retention of Private Investments” within the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council.

The working group’s goal is to stimulate and create proper conditions for private investments good functioning and retaining. The members of the working group are AMCHAM, FIA, EBA, other business and industry associations, government institutions, public and private sector.

The main subject of the agenda was the issue of foreigners employment, specifically the registration and obtaining working permits for foreign citizens: foreign investors, employees in foreign companies or international projects and detached persons in international organizations and embassies. This procedure raised a lot of debates referring to the list of the required documents, terms of its examination and technical procedure of applying and obtaining the working permits. As a result the participants agreed to create a separate group with representatives from business associations, public sector, Bureau of Migration, National Agency of Labor Employment and other government institutions, where there will be discussed technical details of suggested changes.
Among other topics discussed were First Home Program, Law of bureaus of credit history, Law of day employees. Mila Malairau from AMCHAM presented the peculiarities of the concept of „personnel leasing”, as well as the grounds for its implementation in Moldovan legislation.

The working group was on its third meeting and it meets once per month to identify, debate and change the main obstacles that businesses face in their activity.
