On April 19th FSEA joined Improving Investment Climate and Sustainable Economic Growth international conference which was organized by Friedrich Naumann Foundation Southeast Europe.
The main topic of the event was to discuss ways to improve the investment climate, and create more opportunities for entrepreneurs for sustainable economic growth. The event was attended by two experts from Romania and Russia as well as representatives of the „Moldovan-German Economic Cooperation” Association and the Moldova-France Chamber of Commerce, Deputy Director of the Moldova Investment and Export Promotion Organization and a representative of the National Office for Vine and Wine. They offered input and experience on improving the investment climate in Moldova. David Smith president of FSEA shared his personal experience on investing opportunities and challenges in Moldova, he also introduced FSEA and the motivation of its founding.
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom launched the activities in Moldova in late nineties. It has supported the democratization processes and the building of civil societies through political consultations and educational activities. Also, the Foundation actively helped develop the region’s economic restructuring process through public consultations and by conveying valuable liberal concepts.
